This was our second time to Kibale and on the way out we had a car accident, we thought this would be the end to our Chimp trekking. Thankfully the owner of the hotel was willing to pick us up off the road and then drive us to and from the chimps the next day. If it was not for him we would have missed out. Also after a very stressful and long drive it was nice to pull into a very clean and comfortable accommodation, what made it even better the beds were comfy, the food was delicious, there was electricity 100% of the time, and there was hot water already prepared for me in my shower. I normally do not need these but after the day I had I wanted to cry and this place made it all better. To also be able to watch one of the most amazing sunsets over the Kibale forest while on my patio was a perfect end to the day. The place is further out than others but you really are on the edge of the forest and it is a breath taking view of the forest, the main reason you are out here in the first place. You can also sit on your patio and watch monkeys in the trees, just a great experience in the end.
